DIY inground pool Pt 3 – All about the diy concrete pool bottom and liner install
I am building our own inground pool!! I feel like the ultimate DIY would be building your own pool and so I’m going for it. For the first part of this process make sure to check out part one in this series here:
In this video we are pouring the poolcrete one bag at a time and spreading it out to create the pool floor. Once the poolcrete was spread evenly I sanded all the little bumps out to smooth it all out. Next up came the liner. I gathered some neighbors to help. As I slowly filled the pool up with water I worked on getting the wrinkles out and inserting all the ports and skimmer. Now the pool is full of water and ready to jump into.
