This project is the outcome of turning lemons into lemonade. My original plan was to make a Modern, DIY Stone sink out of a Rock from my property. But when it cracked I had a light bulb moment. I decided to take the idea behind kintsugi (Japanese for Gold Joinery) and epoxy the stone back together an gold leaf the cracks to make a one-of-a-kind piece and one of my favorite projects to date on Modern Builds.
