Most People Skip These Steps When Installing LVP Stairs
Installing LVP stair treads properly takes a few extra steps, but every one of them helps create a stronger, longer-lasting staircase.
In this video, I show you how I cut back the old nosing, build a solid square structure with plywood and shims, make the riser, prep the surfaces for better adhesion, and roll the tread firmly into place. It takes more time than a shortcut installation, but the result is a durable vinyl stair tread that is far less likely to move, loosen, or fail.
