This New Ceiling Fan Makes Installation SO Much Easier
Installing a ceiling fan can be one of those jobs that gets frustrating fast — especially when you’re balancing heavy parts on a ladder, dealing with tiny screws, and trying to make electrical connections overhead. This new quick-install ceiling fan design solves a lot of those problems.
In this video, I’m showing you a ceiling fan installation system that makes mounting, wiring, blade installation, and light kit assembly faster and easier.
The mounting bracket uses T-hole slots so you can loosen the existing junction box screws, slide the bracket into place, and tighten it down without fighting to hold everything at once. The larger housing also helps cover drywall damage, old paint lines, or imperfections around a standard 4-inch electrical box.
Instead of traditional wire nuts and wire splicing, the fan uses quick-connect electrical connections that lock the wires directly into place. The fan blades also click into position without needing roughly 15 individual screws, and they can be removed using a simple release pin.
Even the ceiling fan light kit has been redesigned. You hook up the safety cable, connect the wiring, and powerful magnets lock the light securely into place without additional screws.
If you’re wondering how to install a ceiling fan, looking for an easier ceiling fan installation method, or want to see what new ceiling fan technology looks like, this is a great example of how manufacturers are making DIY electrical projects much more user-friendly.
I’ve installed a lot of ceiling fans over the years, and these are exactly the kinds of improvements that make a real difference when you’re working overhead on a ladder.
